Geomembrane is a kind of waterproof barrier material with high polymer as the basic raw material, it is usually composed of plastic film (such as polyvinyl chloride PVC, polyethylene PE, EVA that is ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, or ECB that is ethylene acetate vinyl modified asphalt blend material), and may be combined with non-woven fabrics to enhance its mechanical properties and construction convenience.
The core function of geomemofilm is seepage prevention and isolation, and its seepage prevention performance mainly depends on the characteristics of the plastic film part.

The main uses of geomembrane include but are not limited to:
Environmental protection and sanitation projects: In domestic waste landfills, sewage treatment ponds, hazardous waste landfills and other projects, geomembrane is used for seepage prevention and isolation, preventing pollutants from infiltrating underground water sources, and protecting the environment.
Hydraulic engineering: applied to reservoirs, DAMS, artificial lakes, channels, DAMS and anti-seepage systems, as well as diversion culverts and slope protection, in order to maintain soil and water resources, reduce water loss, enhance structural stability.
Agricultural applications: such as waterproofing and isolation of cisterns, irrigation systems, fish ponds and special crop cultivation (such as lotus root cultivation) to optimize water use and prevent soil salinization and erosion.

Mining and industry: anti-seepage treatment in tailings storage fields, chemical ponds, mine reclamation and other fields to prevent chemical leaks, protect the surrounding ecology and underground water quality.
Transport infrastructure: Waterproofing of tunnel linings, underground works, highways and railways to enhance structural durability and prevent moisture erosion.
Construction project: basement, roof garden, basement moisture-proof, etc., effectively prevent water penetration, protect the building structure.
Geomemofilm plays an indispensable role in many fields because of its good waterproof performance, chemical corrosion resistance, environmental stress cracking resistance and the ability to adapt to complex terrain changes. Its thickness, width and length can be customized according to specific engineering needs, and it has a certain degree of flexibility, easy to transport and install.
